Economy
Value
Good value second-hand, as long as looks and image are not paramount - build integrity is a major benefit.
Costs
Service interval now 12,000 I believe and unlikely to suffer major faults in the meantime.

Driving
A poor ride, but immediate handling. Refinement not that good, but it is quite an old design now.
Performance
Surprisingly quick from around 5,000rpm. Sounds amazing and feels very strong. Has a cult appeal among the tuning/racing fraternity.

Living with it
Reliability
Haven't had any problems and wouldn't expect any - these cars are built to last (and to be driven hard).
Image
Even post-facelist (with the dreadful black bumper protectors dropped) the car is disappointing to look at in standard VTi form, with little concession to sportiness (except nice alloys).
Comfort
Poor ride and noise levels compromise comfort, though the standard seats are good. Interior space surprisingly good.
