What does this car say about you?
sensible but real drivers know this is a beast its had no mods and it beats cavalier 2.5 V6's and 2.2 vectras!! whats wrong its only a little car with a little FWD 1.6 engine am i missing something!!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
to be honest when they see the 98 they will just say it looks nice but when they sit in it and it VTEC's all hell brakes loose and they think its stunning
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes read above, but the main thing is this car is hassle free it should brake down the way it red line and change gear but its fine, ive had it for 2 and a half years and it puts a smile on my face everytime someone underestimates a 1.6 honda civic
What are you likely to buy next?
The type R i have beat everything in my league as in 1.6 FWD normally aspirated cars. So the type are is the same set up just 2 litre so i will kill all the 2.0 litre cars in that. bear in mind focus ST's, VXR's renaults, Cupra's are bigger engines with turbos but they still loose it just doesn't make sense!! (bear in mind when I stick a Turbo on like the cars i'm competing with your gonna wish you stuck to your Fiesta's!)

What's it like to drive?
This is the fastest 1.6 non turbo car. 160bhp out of the factory. but after a filter and catback exhaust easily 170bhp. Great torgue uphills as well. This car beats all Golf GTI's which are atleast 1.8, 2.0 including the turbos the. But this is ridiculous as the car cost less than them new and I thought Hondas had a reputaion for being old man cars. Simply unbeatable 0-60 7.1 sec find a non turbo 1.6 front wheel drive, reliable practical city car that will do this and i will consider it.

Great visibility, electric mirrors if u wnat to adjust to see how close you are to the curb

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No it is ultra reliable which is expected. people say germans and japanese are reliable but this really stands out. You have to consider i am a young male and thrash the car everyday and change gear at 8000 rpm which should damage the engine or blow the gasket but it just whips it up and pulls stonger and stonger with regular oil changes. (every 6k)
What's most practical about your car?
Easy to park, good visibility, all the extras are standard ike electric windows, electric heated mirrors, electric tilt and slide sunroof, air conditioning etc.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
VTEC's economy, excitement, performance, saferty when overtaking etc. reliablity that fact that you know it will start first time everytime. And that it just looks like a normal car and i beat everything in its league and inc 1.8 turbos, 2.0litres, Golf GTI's which cost much more as well!
