Economy
Value
I paid 3300 quid in september 2003, with only 43,000 miles, FSH, MOT, TAX etc... Bargain for everything this car has to offer, especially since it was 19,000 quid new.
Costs
I could have bought this or for the same amount I could have got a crappy Vauxhall with s**te interior and no features and a lame engine etc... so amazing value for money.

On the road
Driving
Racing suspension, hydraulic racing clutch, 2 way LSD, power steetring and a light-weight engine and add for a great drive
Performance
Not as fast as the 1.6 VTi, but the extra weight is worth it for the large boot and 5 doors etc... still beats most cars. GTi say bye bye, the VTEC engine puts out 100bhp per ltr - thats the same as a Ferrari engine, but it doesn't need turbos to do it.

Living with it
Reliability
It's a Honda - need I say more! 60% of the car is hot dipped zinc galvanized so there's no rust, the engine is aluminium so its much more reliable and the car is built to higher standards than most.
Image
Image is refined. Doesn't look like a small engined car with no power trying to look fast, instead it says "I've got the power I don't need to show it off" appeals to some, doesn't to others. Those who know their stuff about cars love it.
Comfort
The seats are amazingly comfortable, I could sit there all day and that car is spacious with all the mod cons.

Security and Service
Security
A good immobiliser as standard, but no alarm, then again alarms do sod all, the only thing that will stop it being nicked is an immobilser and it has one.
Service
Haven't had to see the dealer yet.
