I might consider the new Civic but would get the 1.8

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Decent performance for 1.4 overall although the engine does need to be revved to get decent acceleration. Can be alarmingly sluggish up steep hills.
What's it like to park?
Poor. It is a longish car and has an oil tanker like turning circle.
