Summary
What does this car say about you?
Cost conscious, practical person who puts comfort, space and reliability above image.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone comments about the spaciousness of the interior as it is easily misjudged from the exterior. They feel it is a very practical, easy to live with car. Low maintainence and very reliable.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Definitely. Space within is very well though out. Admittedly, it could have done with a few more cubby holes, but its redeeming features are being a quiet, stable cruiser on the motorways, yet being equally capable within cities and on A and B roads. Fuel comsumption is great too: 43mpg on the motorway and 38mpg in town. In fact this car has made me think that I just want to carry on buying Hondas.
What are you likely to buy next?
Another in the Honda range.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£0
When did you buy the car?
November 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
After looking through prices of similar cars, I paid a standard price for the car of this age, mileage and condition. The dealer threw in standard free stuff like a service, MoT, cost of repairs if necessary after MoT, road tax and in-house warranty included in the price.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Trust Honda's reliability coupled with the right time.
What was the dealer like?
Dealer was not pushy at all. Relatively pleasant buying experience.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Free revving engine with very good mid-high range torque. Confidence inspiring braking capabilities and remains stable around corners with very sharp handling despite a hint of chasis flex due to age. Steel-belted asymmetric tyres seem to work well with this car, making its handling capabilities much sharper.
What's it like to park?
Light steering makes parking very easy. Turning circle could have been better, which I think Honda realised in their newer models. Outward visibility is excellent, while driving position makes light work of judging the corners of the vehicle.
