Economy
Value
Good spec and lots of room for the money.
Costs
Depreciation and servicing costs higher than expected.
-
On the road
Driving
Steering lacks feel, noisy on motorway, prone to under steer. Poor reversing visibility, terrible steering lock, otherwise fine!
Performance
Satisfying to drive quickly, but docile round town. Needs Optimax petrol for smoothest pickup.

Living with it
Reliability
Near perfect. Once I realised that it didn't like supermarket petrol. It was never quite smooth enough until I changed to premium petrol, worth the extra cost for the difference in this car.
Image
Unfairly seen as boring and stodgy, in reality the innovative design and the fact that it is made in Swindon to very high standards should gain it more respect.
Comfort
Great for round town, fine on long runs if taken steadily, noise levels increase if pushed.

Security and Service
Security
Brilliant remote locking / alarm system. Best I have ever used.
Service
Honds try hard, but still feel like dealing with large corporate rather than a local garage. Better than previous experiences with VW, Peugeot,

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Using premium unleaded transforms the smoothness. Engine is always sweet, willing and just works.
Other
Tows a light caravan (1000Kg) very well indeed.
