Economy
Value
£14,000 on the road, wish I'd stuck with the Mini to be honest. Has climate control and an OK CD, that's about it on the toys front. Over priced; its in Clio 182 territory.
Costs
Good on fuel, 40mpg is easy, insurance is high, cost a lot to buy and not a lot for your cash.

Driving
My last car was Mini Cooper, so doesn't really match it. Safe would be the best way to describe, not that much fun, driving position not suited to tall drivers although gear stick in good position.
Performance
I don't think Honda have made any effort with the handling, its a bit soft for something with a sport badge. Engine note is naff, so you don't want to drive it hard for the sake of your ears. 0-60 is better than quoted, will match a Mini Cooper for pace.

Living with it
Reliability
Cut out twice in the first month, paint finish is shocking, rattles from the dash and the air con fires out clouds of white 'gas' from time to time. Not what Honda are known for.
Image
Looks like a type R but apart from that a bit dull, alloys look like smarties (too small) and the larger optional ones cost £1,200, which is a lot, should be standard.
Comfort
Good, nice seats but suffers from road and wind noise quite badly.

Service
Deal was excellent, shame about the car to be honest.
