Economy
Value
Got a great 2nd hand, low mileage deal. Holds it value better than most mainstream manufacturers.
Costs
Good value service, and I got more than 35,000 from the tyres. Excellent.

Driving
Handling is surprisingly good for a 5 door family car. I've covered more than 30k miles in less than a year and also stepped out feeling fresh after long journeys.
Performance
2 litre engine gives good mid-range pull whilst remaining comfortable. Certainly tamed down from the type-R engine, it is perfectly suited to motorway miles. Can still beat most GTIs etc at lights.

Living with it
Reliability
Only been back to the dealer once for a fan belt problem, quickly resolved under warranty.
Image
Not the prettiest of cars, although it looks good from some angles. Would benefit from spending the extra on bigger 16" wheels. Honda's reputation seems to be above that of Ford, Vauxhall etc and is much less common.
Comfort
Good soft yet supportive seats, excellent range of storage bins. A good place to travel in.

Security and Service
Security
Thankfully has not been tested. Comes with alarm and deadlocks.
Service
Excellent dealer service at purchase, servicing and warranty repair.
