Summary
What does this car say about you?
Who cares.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Never asked. However one friend has just bought a new Honda Civic.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes - though the latest version looks less attractive. Most Hondas look worse than they used to.
What are you likely to buy next?
Tricky. There seems to be a contest between car designers to see who can sell the ugliest car to the public. Nissan Juke current leader. I'd like a Tesla Model S - it makes the internal combustion engine obsolescent. At last.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£14,500
When did you buy the car?
January 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes, I think so. Found the car on the internet.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I like Hondas - this was my 4th after an Accord and two Preludes. They just work.
What was the dealer like?
Efficient and helpful.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very comfortable, essential for long journeys. Can be quick when necessary.
What's it like to park?
Visibility to the rear is the only issue.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
In the seven years I've had it - driver's side brake binding (fixed); air conditioning relay replaced; rear light bulb replaced. Otherwise, all wear and tear - tyres, pads, discs.
What's most practical about your car?
(I've a spreadsheet which records all money spent on the car.) Economical - it has averaged 49.1 miles per gallon - driving mainly in Cornwall that's pretty good. It costs 32p for every mile driven. Practical - it has a useful load space, and has been used to carry lots of stuff about.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Chose ES model as it has cruise control. No favourite gadgets or options though.
