What does this car say about you?

That you like to be a little different from Ford and Vauxhall man yet you understand build quality and reliability are important.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Loved it. Surprised when they got inside. If i had a penny for every person that said it looked like the Starship Enterprise when they got in and I started it up.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Not sure. Possibly if the ride has been sorted out in the new version. Can't fault much else. Very, very good car.

What are you likely to buy next?

Something a bit more of a motorway cruiser. Probably a BMW or Merc diesel.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Wasn't bad. Managed to get the price down and get a good deal on the part ex.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Reliability and economical.

What was the dealer like?

A little pushy but I suppose he was just doing his job.

What's it like to drive?

Surprisingly fast, torquey and quite fun to drive. Not as sharp as a focus but nice all the same. However, the ride is extremely firm, firmer than on some "sporty" car's I've had in the past. Got tiresome in the end and one of the reasons I sold it.

What's it like to park?

Not bad but not great either. Get a parking sensor fitted as the rear spoiler is a mare to see out of.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing - solid as a rock although servicing costs were a little steep.

What's most practical about your car?

The rear seats.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Loved the display when I first got in the car although I have to say the fold down rear seats ended up being fantastic, You can get so much in the car when they fold down flat like this,.
