Honda Civic Hatchback (2006 - 2011) 2.2 i-CTDi Sport 5d Owner Review

I owned the Honda Civic 2.2 sport for 4 years. The drive was exciting with quick acceleration and was very comfortable at speed. The handling on corners was reasonable but felt a little front heavy when pushed. The MPG was really good for a car that felt so powerful. On a long run I could get around 60mpg. I liked the sporty look of this car. The interior was nice with a sporty feel and the seats were comfortable. There is plenty of space for a family of 4. The boot was huge. The main issue was that every now and then when you accelerated hard the clutch would slip leaving you in quite a dangerous predicament when overtaking. Also the roof above the windscreen was bubbling up with rust. I have heard that both of these issues are common faults. Other than that the car was very reliable and the service I received from Honda was second to none.
