What does this car say about you?

I took Honda reliability for granted.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

I guess the neighbour likes it, he bought a newer version. Friends love the futuristic dashboard.

Would you buy this car again and why?

No, for a car with only 50k miles 90% of which being a flat 60-70mph motorway commute the suspension should not need so much expensive attention. Plus rear visibility when its dark and raining is poor.

What are you likely to buy next?

If I can a BMW simply because I have a 14 year old Z3 which is over twice as old with twice the miles which has never failed an MOT or needed anything other than a filter and oil change.

Diesel economy and space.

What's it like to drive?

An effortless motorway cruiser with plenty of power, away from the motorway the hard suspension makes for a bumpy ride and depending on the road surface the noise in the cockpit ranges from serene to deafening.

What's it like to park?

In a word - hard. I don't consider myself the best or the worst driver but parking the Civic and getting it right first time requires a bit of luck.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Yes, both drop links replaced, bump stops, clutch master cylinder replaced, window trim has peeled off twice.

What's most practical about your car?

Spacious with good economy.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The Sport spec is not too blessed with options, but the radio/cd player sounds good and I like the boot swallows our camping gear.
