Honda Civic Hatchback (2012 - 2017) 1.4 i-VTEC SE 5d Owner Review

at 66 yrs old and ex motortrade i have owned over 25 cars and drove plenty more. i choose honda as the most reliable mass produced cars on the road; i love this civic its superb, on a 250 mile trip to north york moors averaged 59 to the gallon, the 1.4cc engine is smooth and sweet only lacking in power at large roundabouts on fast roads when you have to stop, but you can safely rev to at lease 5000 rpm without doing any harm clears out he cat etc! red lined at 6500 rpm. so a good safety margin. other then that as the 6 speed box is so well matched to the engine long hills etc a breeze flys up them i have left audis etc by flooring it in 3rd and vtec cuts in up long steep inclines it revs fabulous! i feel as honda famous for motorbike engines since the 1960s that their smaller engines are sweeter. and hondas are capable of taking the revs. superb gearchange brakes etc. best car i have ever owned.
