In their own words
Very comfortable! I do very long journeys every week by myself ranging from 150 miles to 400 miles in one go, and this car makes every journey effortless. It has the get up and go required to make overtaking easy and the stereo and Bluetooth features help make the trips as painless as they could be. The only snag I have is that sometimes the Bluetooth will disconnect and reconnect mid conversation which can be mildly annoying, this is probably just a "feature" of my particular car. The seats are also incredibly comfortable.
Since my journeys are all very long (some from London to Glasgow travelling up the M6 and the M74) up very straight roads with little to no slowing and accelerating, my MPG often shows over 70 MPG over around 600 miles, which is excellent! The worst fuel economy I have experienced is around 42MPG over around 500 miles when I was doing mostly urban driving.
The boot space is excellent and the rear seats have plenty of legroom, the seats fold down to the floor because the fuel tank isn't located under the rear seats like in most cars; if I need to move lots of equipment for work or need to move house the Civic doesn't hinder in any way.
The reliability has been excellent so far, since I bought the car a little over two years ago I have done over 60,000 miles and it hasn't missed a beat, she still sounds and feels like she did the day I bought her.
I plan to keep the Civic until it dies, which is a long way off so I'll keep enjoying her for a few more years yet!
