Having driven Honda's since 2003 this experience has left me disillusioned with Honda and its Public Relations Department. If the diesel particulate filter is so expensive to manufacture I think that in order for it to be fit for purpose it should last a reasonable amount of time and mileage compared to the lifespan of the vehicle.
How reliable do you find the car?
Problems with a Diesel Particulate Filter quoted over £3,600 to replace. Not what I would expect on a car under 4 years old and Honda's " Award winning reliable motors".About their car
