Honda Civic Hatchback (2017 - 2022) Prestige 182PS VTEC Turbo auto 5d Owner Review

Absolutely one of the best cars I have owned (47 so far). In bright blue with black alloys it looks great, lots of positive comments from others about the styling. The 1.5 turbo engine is smooth and flexible around town, quiet on the motorway but truly manic (in a good way) when exercised. Mine is an auto CVT and I find it difficult to fault the box except that seven gears using the paddles is just too many. The interior is comfortable, not the best but then this well equipped car in Prestige form with 180ps is relatively inexpensive. The controls are simple and easily to hand and the instruments are clear and comprehensive especially with the added selectable information below the speedometer. The Sat Nav is poor but then I never understood why anyone would need one at all. Overall a great car, much better to drive than the previous Civic, which I also owned as a 1.8 auto. Reliability is exemplary, I have owned three Accords (total 100,00 miles) and three Civics (total 60,000 miles) and can only remember one problem, a brake sensor failure.
