Honda Civic Tourer (2014 - 2018) 1.8 i-VTEC SE Plus (03/15-) 5d Owner Review

The tourer is well built and even now, at almost six years old, nothing rattles or has gone wrong. I bought it at the very end of its production with a positive reputation that went before it. We like the traditional handbrake, the CD player, the lack of privacy glass, the spare wheel and jack (that Honda kindly provided), the 4 cylinder 1.8 VTEC engine without a turbo and the distinctive shape of the tourer which is quite unlike most of its bland rivals.

This is my first Honda, and probably my last, as I intend to keep it until it leaves me. BUT, as we are both in our 70's I fear the low down seats could be a problem in the future? I have owned many cars since 1972 and the tourer is easily the best. I always wanted to own a Honda or a SAAB which sadly stopped being an option.
