Summary
What does this car say about you?
It says that I like to drive a car which has a Unique and involving drive which not many other cars in it's class can match. It takes effort and planning to drive this car, only a race enthusiast will enjoy driving.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They love it! Whenever someone sits in the car, their eyes seem to be everywhere in excitement looking at the front dash area! The exterior looks quite striking, a lot of people turn to look at the car, especially with mine being in Milano Red.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Maybe, because I would like Honda to up the power a bit more, not with forced induction such as turbo/super charger, but Naturally Aspirated, maybe if the next Civic Type R is around 250bhp - 300bhp, I will think of getting another one.
What are you likely to buy next?
Honda or BMW.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The i-VTEC engine, it is a masterpiece of an engine, the way it delivers the performance is just amazing! I have driven cars with turbos, but they never seemed this thrilling to drive as in the Type R. At 5200rpm the throttle becomes very responsive and the engine screams all the way to 8300rpm! The way this car drives, it is a rather hard/harsh drive, but you do feel confident driving it fast around the bends knowing that it will keep you on the road. The brakes are also very good. Driving on the motorway is a bit noisy, but, you have to remember that it is a 2.0 i-VTEC engine with 201PS (198bhp) and it won't 'cruise' on the motorway like a 3.5 V6. But the Type R is a race natured engine and always keeps on revving, even when you think that you're out of revs.
What's it like to park?
Parking 'can' be a nightmare to be honest, especially when you are a new driver in this type of car, where the rear view is rather restricted, I'd advise anyone to invest in some decent parking sensors, better than damaging the rear and crying about it.
