Boy Racer with bit more class. You do get a lot of people trying to race you!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Love it! Everyone always wants to go in it!

Would you buy this car again and why?

100% I cant think of a one car that does everything as well as this does! The speed, the ease of driving it, day to day driving, the interior, just the best car Iv ever owned! You would be a fool to buy the VXR or ST over this! Iv had a play with both and neither pulled away and when it came to braking and turning I annihilated them!

What are you likely to buy next?

Mugen FN2 Type R or depending on money maybe R35.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I didn't buy it from a dealer but I took my car to Honda in slough to have it all checked over and they were hopeless! Making up issues saying I needed new brake pads when I had just put new ones in! Saying my wipers had splits when I asked to look they had suddenly disappeared. My oil needed changing when I had only just changed it. Your better off using motorsport companies who really know their stuff. (ABP motorsport are wicked!).

What's it like to drive?

Perfection! One of the best cars Iv driven! Puts a massive smile on your face, Vtec is so addictive along with the sound, for a standard car sounds wicked! Better than a Astra Vxr, better than a Focus St and feels exactly the same as a EP3 just tad smoother! Top Gear slated this car but if you read AutoCar, Banzai, CAR all of them say its one of the best handling in its class! Its miles more fun than an astra vxr which I had to fight to make it go straight. My friends got a 07 VXR and its very close and when it comes to bend my car eats his! So much so hes planning on selling his VXR for a FN2 type R!

What's it like to park?

In all honestly...terrible. After a while you get used to the length and the width then its OK but the visibility out the rear is dismal but I really like the spoiler so doesnt bother me!

Have you had any problems with the car?

Only a few little niggles nothing major! Clutch Squeaks in first when its cold but after warmed up nothing. Bumper alignment isn't amazing. Seat rattles at low speed. Slight rust under windscreen seal but Honda are sorting it all out for free as it was a recall issue!

What's most practical about your car?

Massive boot, has two layers! The room inside, its so big with so much leg room, endless amount of cup holders, control everything off the steering wheel!

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The interior is incredible! Everyone thats gets in it loves all the lights and the array of buttons! The heater system in incredible, demists in a couple of seconds from cold! Dual zone climate control is a stroke of genius! The change gear lights! But best of all is the seats! They are amazing, hug you so well and connect you to the car so much more! When I get in any other car it just doesn't feel the same. The whole interior is just so welcoming and you just want to drive it!
