No. Although the performance is great fun, there's too many build quality issues.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Doing a lot of research and being prepared to travel meant I found a pre-reg with only 35 miles on the clock but about £3,000 off the list price.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
Only interested in the money. I bought over the phone, but when I turned up at the appointed time to collect the car, he'd double-booked with another couple, and couldn't / wouldn't explain some of the features of the car to me.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Drives like a demon on A and B roads, but you need a particular style to max it - power only kicks in at 5200 rpm and redlines around 9000, so if you prefer low-end torque go elsewhere! Very harsh ride in town, but fair enough, it's a sports car. Rear visibility poor due to the spoiler in the middle of the window.
What's it like to park?
Nightmare. Terrible visibility because of the spoiler, combined with low skirts and splitter, means a lot of care needed. Like anthing though you get used to it

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Build quality is appalling. Repeated battery failures, lots of squeaks and rattles (excessively intrusive). Radio failed. Dealer damaged the dashboard when fitting the ipod connector.
What's most practical about your car?
The loadspace is completely flat with the back seats down, so for a 3-door hatch it can haul quite a bit of stuff.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The red digital split display is really cool once you get used to it
