Honda Civic Type-R (2017 - 2022) Type R 320PS VTEC Turbo 5d Owner Review

In their own words
The car stands out with it's "distinctive" styling and "Boost Blue" colour - I am aware others don't care for the looks, but I love it & have only had positive comments from other people. Car gets a lot of heads nodding in approval. Car is fantastic to drive, has all the power I could ever need, is extremely practical with 4 doors & a large (class leading) rear hatch space, and that sweet 6 speed manual! I will be keeping this for a long, long time!
If I had any criticism at all, it would be (as per many internet commenters) the habit the car has of picking up loose stones between the front brake disc and its dust cover.... I believe I can live with that.....!!
How reliable do you find the car?
No issues encountered and none expected from a Honda
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
I consolidated my "fleet" from a 2020 Civic RS 1.5T CVT and a 2010 FN2 Type R Civic to a single 2020 Civic Type R to free up garage space for my Fiance's car. Was a bit apprehensive going to a Type R as my daily driver after the FN2 (which on a long trip could loosen your fillings) but I needn't have worried - the FK8 Type R in "Comfort" mode is perfectly at home on suburban streets, plus can adapt to be a back road blaster & motorway cruiser at the flick of a switch.. I am heartily impressed!
