Summary
What does this car say about you?
No longer in the first flush of youth.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all love it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes
What are you likely to buy next?
If Honda go back to making a more rugged soft roader than their current offerings one of them But I expect to own this for another 5 to 10 years so they have plenty of time.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£0
When did you buy the car?
January 2015
Did you get a good deal and why?
Not brilliant But wife and number one son had both fallen in love with the car and it did all that I needed.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
My commute is 50% motorway and 50% single track with speed bumps and huge puddles (or ice in winter) I also help with youth football and need to carry at least three children, their kit, footballs and a portable goal on a regular basis.
What was the dealer like?
Very pleasant and courteous.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It won't corner at the same speed as my old prelude! But its done everything I've asked as well as I could have hoped.
What's it like to park?
Easier than I expected Big (full size! Hooray) tyre on the blunt end makes it longer than one might expect.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Facia on sat nav has faulty switch and so periodically after travelling over bumps (part of what I bought it for) it nags me that that the navigation unit door is open A (tbf quite scratched) CD jammed in the slot loader The switch on the boot catch has (although not recently) falsely told me that its not closed The bonnet catch is a bit temperamental.
What's most practical about your car?
Its the perfect engineer's solution. Least worst at everything put together Engine has a bit of poke when driven as a Honda (power through revs) Ground clearance is great Ride on hardtop is fine Part time AWD is a nice compromise.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Ground clearance VTEC Engine.
