Economy
Value
Good spec for the price with Leather, Sat Nav, Heated seats. Only thing I would have liked is cruise control and stability assistance which were not options. Interestingly these have been introduced for the 05 model range.
Costs
Service due in a month estimated around £160 ish. Fuel consumption is around 27MPG and could be better although I imagine this will improve as the mileage increases

On the road
Driving
Automatic is smooth, has a good ride and is quiet. Understeers when pushed hard although you can actually corner quicker than you initially think possible, once you get used to the body roll. At the end of the day it's a softroader not a hot hatch.
Performance
Ignore comments to the contrary. Its quick enough in the real world. If you want to get to 60 in real hurry buy a Civic Type R.

Living with it
Reliability
It's a Honda so it's not likely to have any issues here.
Image
Driven by more mature drivers. As a 30 year old I reckon I bring the average age of owners down about 10 years.
Comfort
Very comfortable. Nice being high up. Heated seats lovely on those cold winter journeys. Chilled drinks holders handy in summer as is picnic table. Wet gear holder handy after muddy mountain bike rides.

Security and Service
Security
Still here. Deadlocks, alarm and immobiliser should keep it this way.
Service
Dealer helpful although pre delivery inspection should have been more thorough to avoid problems mentioned below.
