Even though we’ve been a little unlucky with this one I never worry about the car letting us down, most issues have been picked up during a service. I still love the car and would buy another, very practical, great on long journeys, people seem to like travelling in it. We live in the Channel Islands but regularly take the car on the ferry to mainland UK or France on holiday, loads of space to pack everything in on those trips. I used a non Honda garage for repairs as prices are much better. Will be looking replace with the next generation CRV after this one with the 1.6 Diesel engine.
How reliable do you find the car?
Wiper motor replaced under warranty from Garage bought car from. 12 months after buying strong vibration at high speeds, front drive shafts had to be replaced. 2 years after purchase front power steering cooling pipe rusted, leaked needed replacing. 3 years after purchase rear shock absorbers rusted need replacing. 4 years after purchase rear spring broken, needs replacing. I believe rust related issues due to living by the sea, car has never let us down/broken down engine perfect but mechanical issues over the years.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
