I had a 2004 CRV so knew what to expect. Reliability and a car that does everything well without excelling at anything except carrying 5 adults comfortably with their luggage in the capacious boot which with the rear seats lowered turns the car into a pretty decent van that shows no signs of wear despite many trips to the local tip and being used to carry tables, gazebo and produce to our market stall.
