Honda CR-V (2012 - 2018) 2.0 i-VTEC SE 5d Auto Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
On purchase the car had a full honda service history and a new MOT - I intend, depending on resale values, to keep this vehicle for a minimum of 4 years - I had the car serviced shortly after purchase and changed all the oils engine, atf (partial) and rear AWD diff These vehicles are not purchased for how fast they go and howquick they get there, but for their capabilities and reliability. Did you know that the MOT test (costing around £30 at many places) covers 85% of the points covered in a very expensive annual service charge? The rest is quite within the scope of virtually everybody. see youtube for help with the rest - Having said that the only servicing that remains for me to do over the next 5 years is an annual oil and filter change. For that I purchased an oil extraction pump off fleabay for £11 and as the genuine honda cr-v oil filter is a tenner I shall use one of those. Kerax 0w-20 oil that meets honda specs is a further £21 so why pay more?
How reliable do you find the car?
purchased this car privately in July 2018 when it was 5 years old - chose the petrol automatic as it does low annual mileage and it is a boon not having to change gear in todays trafficDoes the car do everything you expected it to do?
Everything works as it should however the main and dipped beams leave a lot to be desired - apart from that no problemsAbout their car
