Honda CR-V (2012 - 2018) SE Plus Navi 1.6 i-DTEC 2WD 5d Owner Review

In their own words
Replaced our old 2.2 diesel CR-V with the later model and the 1.6 diesel. Was initially mindful of the diesel emission systems - DPF etc but time will tell I guess. Noticeably different from the old model. On the motorway the shorter gearing isn't really an issue. I presume the engine needs to be higher revving to keep the emissions systems cleaner. Really nice comfortable interior with estate car like roominess unlike many of the mainstream SUVs. Yes there are some cheap plastics but again not an issue. Feels more upmarket than a Sportage or Quashqai and I like the fact that it is a standalone car and not a badge engineered clone like with so many of the other SUVs. Have had a few annoying niggles however the dealer has resolved these. Hopefully will be reliable over the coming years until we ultimately switch to electric.
How reliable do you find the car?
A small number of odd things - parking sensors and the intermittent windscreen wipers failed.About their car
