Great Car all around EXCEPT that dubious if not dangerous Sat-Nav fault that I fear may cause accidents as the drivers attention is taken away from the road in front to follow any directions from it. As stated there are many other owners of this model reporting the very same problems on other forums to be found and all are getting nowhere trying to get this inherent problem sorted.
How reliable do you find the car?
EXCEPT: That the Audio Volume for the Garmin Sat-Navs directions although set on Maximum (11) it is totally useless on 'A' Roads/Motorways and other roads above 40 MPH. This forces any driver to look away from the road in front to glance at the Sat-Nav Map when trying to follow the routes directions which is DANGEROUS to say the least. This is not only likely to cause accidents or worse fatalities. For info:- On reporting the problem to Honda they blame Garmin and Garmin blame Honda actually stating that they only provide the software (if you can believe it). Meanwhile the vehicle owner whom has paid in excess of £39,000 for the vehicle is ignored. I always thought that Honda & Garmin would be more concerned and show far more responsibility to their customers let alone to peoples safety when the equipment they sell is dangerous.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
With the exception of a useless Sat-Nav that you cannot hear the audio directions above 40 MPH. Its a great car (My Third CRV but I wouldn't recommend it on the safety issues mentioned about the Sat-Nav) For further info:- There are many owners making the very same complaint about this on other forums too.About their car
