Summary
What does this car say about you?
Young & fun.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They love going for a ride in it, as it has turned heads a couple of times!
Would you buy this car again and why?
If I didn't need to use the back seats then yes.
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably an Audi A4, BMW 3 series or Mercedes C-class.
-
Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£11,500
When did you buy the car?
June 2014
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes, the salesman wanted to get rid of the car as it had been in stock for a while.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Old Fiesta didn't have enough power for motorway driving, which I do a lot more of in my new job.
What was the dealer like?
It was a car supermarket, who didn't pressure me in to buying it. Felt pushed in to some optional add ons which I has to argue hard to turn down.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's very nippy in town, thanks to the on demand hybrid power. Sport mode makes a noticeable difference to performance. The car handles very well, and is composed on the motorway. It can be a bit uncomfortable over rough surfaces however.
What's it like to park?
Rear visibility is very poor, however the small dimensions and rear parking sensors make parking very easy.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Thus far nothing has gone wrong with it. We've had a lot of Japanese cars in our family, all of which have been very reliable.
What's most practical about your car?
If you fold down the useless rear seats, the overall boot space is quite impressive. Rear access is appalling, however - it's a 2 seater only.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
IPod connectivity.
