I've owned this car for 26 years I love it. It's fast looks great and every time I drive it I smile because it's such fun. It's a car for a person who loves to drive and now they are as rare as hens teeth the car gets a lot of attention so make sure it's alarmed. Imobillised and crook locked. Watch it in the wet though and be ready cautious in the Ice and snow as it can catch you out. The cars are beautifully built the electrics have held the test of time. Yes they do rust but that's to be expected the sun roofs and arches being the most common area and boot struts go but all these things can be sorted easily. If you see o e for sale grab it while you still can and have fun.
How reliable do you find the car?
The car has only let me down with battery issues(my fault poor maintenance) and a leaky rad after nearly 28 years that's pretty good.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
The car has been sitting in my garage for thirteen years. Started first time as soon as new fuel pump fitted. Fantastic car handles like a go kart and such fun to drive.About their car
