Honda CRX 1.6i VTEC 2d (1991/H) Owner Review

Economy
Value
You quite simply pay a premium for the VTEC version. With 160bhp, the 1.6i VT VTEC I picked up feels like a bargain!
Costs
Nothing so far... however, with most parts shared with the Civic of the same era, should be low...ish!

On the road
Driving
The car drives well, with very responsive steering. Lack of PAS only truly missed in parking into very tight spaces!
Performance
Hit 5500 revs and the true VTEC kicks in... what more can I say. The CRX is a light car, so it quite simply flies.

Living with it
Reliability
Starts everytime and not given me a single problem to date.
Image
Starting to gain 'classic' sports car status and rightfully so... rising prices reflect the cars popularity at the moment.
Comfort
You get what you expect... a sporty ride, hence comfort is not really an issue. Ride is low to the ground, hence you feel the bumps on the road etc.

Security and Service
Security
Came with standard alarm... not enough for me though, I can imagine her being broken into anytime soon. Will upgrade to Clifford/Toad or similar.
Service
Cannot comment on this as have not visited Honda.
