Summary
What does this car say about you?
For an MPV it is quite a cool car but not in a shouty way like a zafira GSi. Honda's have a reasonably upmarket image and we like the fact that it is not an obvious choice.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like it
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, so far it has been fantastic. My only wish would be that it could be more economical. We get about 26mpg in urban use and low 30s when touring.
What are you likely to buy next?
Hoping to keep this a good long time so haven't really thought about a replacement.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£4,750
When did you buy the car?
October 2010
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes - I think it was a fair price for us and the dealer. They are hard to find at our price point which restricts supply.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
We wanted 6 seats without someone sitting in the boot or having to buy a multipla
What was the dealer like?
Straight forward, seemed honest and decent.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Nippy, even with us all in it and quite good fun on twisty roads. It is low geared which suits us but wouldn't suit folks doing many motorway miles. If you do much motorway work still buy an FRV as they are great but get a 2.0 petrol or the diesel as they have 6 gears instead of 5 as in our 1.7 petrol model.
What's it like to park?
OK. Rear visibility is not great but it is a lot shorter than shalambra/galaxy, newer zafira etc. It really isn't any wider either.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
We've only had it 5 months and only got caught out with a failed battery in a very cold spell before Christmas 2010.
What's most practical about your car?
6 seats and still a decent boot. Can fit 3 child seats across the back seats.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Steering wheel mounted radio controls for me. Rear power windows for our oldest child (he's 4).
