Honda HR-V (2015 - 2020) EX 1.5 i-VTEC auto (09/2018 on) 5d Owner Review

Good points: Comfortable, economical, and quiet. It feels like the car is well built. Spare tyre available. Bad points: The CVT gearbox is pathetic, even driving extremely gently it does not change up a gear until about 3500 - 4000 revs. I have had 3 Nissans with CVT so I do know how that type of gearbox should operate. The heating/ventilation controls are touch control, and extremely dangerous trying to find anything when your driving. The radio is so complicated to use, but does not even have Radio Text to say whats playing. The USB sockets are underneath the centre console - yes, underneath, who thought that was a good idea, even a passenger has difficulty using them!
