Economy
Value
Fairly good value. Bought for around £6.5k before finance. You can get quite a lot of car for £7k, but the HRV is feature-packed and very induvidialistic. Never seen more than 2 a day on the roads.
Costs
Disappointing fuel consumption, but then again it's a lump of a car and when bad weather or terrain turns up, suddenly it's all worth while!

On the road
Driving
Would have liked a smaller turning circle, but you can fling it through Roundabouts with ease and aplomb, alternatively go over the top of them that instant on 4x4 is great! Needs better fog lights though.
Performance
You are never going to beat anyone off from the traffic lights, even with the sports button on! However, it'll happily nip past artics on the Motorway no problem. Indicated 115 is also possible... just!

Living with it
Reliability
After 4 years, only a sticky folding mech on right wing mirror and a slightly popped rear parcel shelf. Do not expect any trouble for the forseeable future.
Image
4x4 drivers see you as a cute younger brother, Max Power style drivers like the De riguer cosmetics, normal drivers like the 'out there' funkiness and your mum likes it because the ride is smooth as silk.
Comfort
After 4 years, the trim is knackered and I'm getting some branded seat covers or a leather retrim. The Cabin is also boring as hell compared to the outside :(. A/C and P/S makes up for it!

Security and Service
Security
No remote and no alarm. At least it has wheel locking nuts.
Service
Honda Chiswick are not very good at all. Will try Honda Weybridge.
