Honda HR-V Estate (1999-2005) interior, tech and comfort

In typical Honda style, everything is within arm’s length from the driver. The seats are supportive, but might be a bit too firm for some drivers. The steering wheel adjusts for height, but not length. Simple and clearly laid-out buttons. Commanding driving position.
Certainly not a family choice – there’s not really enough room in the back for two teenagers (without complaint, anyway). But things are much better up front where there’s plenty of leg and headroom. Too much engine and wind noise on the motorway – the 1.6 VTEC sounds strained at speed.
