Honda Jazz (2002 - 2008) 1.4i-DSI S 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
The ride is firm absolutely no doubt it there. However it is not so firm it's uncomfortable. I'm a well proportioned chap so find the drivers seat a little small yet comfortable (and with the seat full back someone can sit behind me with leg room!). I drive quite a distance occasionally (120 miles each way) and get out of the car without back ache or my knees on lockdown, which I have to say I was kind of expecting in such a small car. As I've already said you do get a lot for your money and it's a nice looking car, still ( it's now 12 years old!) I like the magic seats they are so easy to operate. It turns on a 6 pence and I actually enjoy driving it (beware though bigger cars do tend to think they can cut you up on busy A roads, motorways etc... those people I call an unprintable name!) It has quite a bit of poke in the engine (which is a surprise as its tiny!) it is NOT a granny wagon I'm a 45 year old man and find it perfectly able to keep up with traffic and even overtake slower cars! The look they give you is hilarious! I've owned it about two months now and have to say I love it. I love that it's cheap to run, the space inside is amazing, dash lay out whilst a bit plasticky is functional and really really easy to navigate. Electric windows all round that you can control from the front is great, power fold mirrors on a super mini maybe a touch of overkill but I am not complaining and a stereo that doesn't jump when playing your cd at the merest thought of a bump is great. It is not a hot hatch so doesn't appeal to the local thieving toe rags (and the factory fitted dead locks would make it a pretty fruitless task to get in anyway) and that is a comfort in itself. Above all it doesn't look cheap and tacky and I believe it's a good allround solid, reliable (from what I've read and heard from people I've spoken to) little (big) car!
How reliable do you find the car?
Any problems were from what was already known at the time of purchase i.e. Broken tail lightDoes the car do everything you expected it to do?
I didn't expect too much from a cheap 2nd hand car. I got aircon, all round electric windows, power fold wing mirrors and a decent stereo. Plus I'm over 6 foot tall and I can drive it comfortably It was a good value purchase in my opinion.About their car
