What does this car say about you?

I think it says I made a sensible practical choice, and I'm not having a mid-life crisis.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My wife loves the fact its much cheaper to run than the Land Rover Discovery it replaced. To keep her in the manner in which she will have to be accustomed.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes I would definitely buy another one because it just does what it should reliably and without any fuss. It gives me 50+ mpg week in week out.

What are you likely to buy next?

I do prefer diesel cars and if I had the choice I would choose an MPV or part-time 4x4 because of my country sport interests.

Did you get a good deal and why?

The car was in good clean and tidy condition, had good service history,drove very well, came with a full mot and 3 months warranty. It was slightly below the value suggested by the Parkers price guide.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I needed a small, reliable and economical car as my commute had increased from 8 to 85 miles per day.

What was the dealer like?

The dealer was helpful and fitted 2 new tyres and serviced it before purchase. They took a deposit to secure the vehicle.

What's it like to drive?

It drives very well, considering its age all the controls feel like new and it feels nice and tight when cornering. It is no sports car but is nippy around town and comfortable at 60, though as it's quite low geared lengthy motorway driving would be a bit of a chore.

What's it like to park?

Very easy to park, with great rear vision and very small turning circle. The bonnet is very short and out of view so often left with more parking space ahead than you think.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The rear hatch lock was found not to work and was replaced without question in the warranty period.

What's most practical about your car?

I love the way the rear seats fold both up and down to create a large flat space or two distinct areas. Very handy with our 4 dogs.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The tilt and slide electric sunroof is great for providing a well aired cabin with wet dogs in it.
