Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£12,200
When did you buy the car?
October 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes: It was the cheapest like for like in the UK by at least £700 but see "what was the dealer like?".
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I am growing old (disgracefully) and wanted an auto with lots of space, reliable and cheap to run.
What was the dealer like?
The dealer had advertised it lower than anyone else despite the fact : it had only done 300 mile with one owner it had a private plate worth £600 (offered) it had a pack including carpet c and sill covers and reversing sensors The dealer was very helpful, but tried to sell all sorts of extras such as Gap insurance (£400 vs £99), etc etc etc which added £1,000 to the price. I bought none of them. To be fair, they were excellent (Stratstone of Leeds) - but pushy.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Easy. S mode on the CVT for a sporty drive, D mode for economy.. Just very easy to drive, corner and park. Great brakes (disks all round).
What's it like to park?
Doddle with sensors at the rear. Great rear views. At the front, little overhang and high drivers seat ,makes tight spaces easy.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing.
What's most practical about your car?
The space in the boot for shopping. The ease of driving. The ease of parking... And the self parking side mirrors.. which stick out quite a bit...
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The auto : CVT plus torque convertor. Takes the strain out of traffic and ton driving end economy is the same as the manual. And the Magic seats are err magic..
