Honda Jazz (2015 - 2020) 1.3 EX 5d Owner Review

In their own words
I owned an original Jazz for 14 years - great car till someone stole the Cat. Thought this would have same driving pleasure but it's horrible - so sluggish and inflexible - I'm fed up with having to downshift to 5th or 4th on the slightest motorway gradient. Also really hate the touchscreen audio setup - I am quite tech savvy but haven't sussed it out in a year of trying. Most wretched design fault is that every time I select 1st, 3rd or 5th, my hand brushes the heating touch-controls and changes the heat setting. Lousy bit of design. I've always had Honda cars but never again - switching to a Fiesta which is a delight to drive after the Jazz. The guy who delivered it says that he takes a lot of Jazzes to nuns - I guess they get by with prayers... Sorry Honda - you should have stuck to the original Jazz engine and not gone back to the V-tec. The car is a lot noisier at almost all speeds than I expected, mainly engine/exhaust noises. Have to also say that the aircon is very noisy, you can't switch off the annoying lane-control buzzer with the switch provided, and most of the time the battery is too flat to allow engine stop/start to work in traffic. On the plus side it is very roomy with a flexible loading arrangement and the seats are comfy.
