Honda Jazz (2015 - 2020) Sport 1.5 i-VTEC (03/2018 on) 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
I live alone with my two Rough Collies, so this Jazz is ideal for all of us. My dogs travel safely inside the car, with the Magic Seats in 'tall mode'. Its also very easy for the elderly one to step in and out - no jumping, lifting or annoying ramps needed. To my mind Honda should make more of this, to the UK's dog-owners.
We all travel inside the car's safety-cage, with a good size boot for occasional holiday luggage.
This is my third and best Jazz, without any doubt ! The extra very willing horses transform this car from just 'transport', to a pleasure to drive. Yes, the engine can be loud if driven like a sports car, but it isn't and there's no need to do that on today's busy roads; given our astronomic petrol prices, is there ? This is also the most fuel efficient of my previous Jazz's, proving that more power need not equate to a bigger thirst. Its your right foot that matters !
The heating, ventilation and air-con controls, are simple and easy to use, unlike so many touch-screen or push button alternatives. Some of these are positively dangerous to use when on the move.
I was disappointed that it came with no jack, nor any kind of spare wheel. Having no faith in cans of 'gunge', both items were easily obtained via the internet. You know it makes sense !
Final thoughts - The sign recognition system is a license saver ! Lane departure warnings and rear cameras, are simply gimmicks on a Jazz. If you need them, you shouldn't be driving..
How reliable do you find the car?
Typically Honda, I'd never drive anything else !
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
And I do mean a BIG LOT more !
