Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
There is a slight buzzing noise from the ABS unit when I start the car. It does this for about 10-15 seconds and then stops. However, occasionally I start driving before the buzzing quits and every once in a while my ABS light comes on. The car runs normal and braking is not affected. Dealer told me this was due to a bad ABS Accumulator. Haven't fixed it yet but based on number of them available as a replacement part - it looks like this is a common fault. You can replace accumulator without replacing entire ABS unit. Although not really a fault, I feel I should mention this; JDM models come with a Honda Navigation system. This is a built-in sat-nav and TV - however, they are not build for areas outside of Japan so they don't work in Ireland/UK.
What's most practical about your car?
Sheer comfort; ability to overtake effortlessly on motorways.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I would advise anybody in the market for a Legend to go for a JDM model as they come with a host of extras that UK and Irish Legends do not have. I have a couple of favorite options; The automatically adjusting steering wheel column, heated seats, auto-dim rear view mirror, reclining rear seats and rear radio controls.
