Honda Prelude 2.0 2d (1993/L) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Fantastic sportscar for under £3000.
Costs
Honda dealers WAY too expensive. Try your utmost to find an independent or at least a decent garage you can trust.

On the road
Driving
Flat cornering and never gets out of shape.
Performance
Brilliant. Honda's motorbike experience has paid dividends with the Prelude. Nail it and it screams to the redline. Expect big cheesy grins when you first step into one and hear a race car engine roar from under the bonnet.

Living with it
Reliability
Impeccable. Never let me down.
Image
You have to see one in the flesh to understand, because pictures do it no justice. Massive wide arches, low stance, bullet shape. Genuinely beautiful.
Comfort
Very comfy for short journeys, but lack of neck support can cause aches and pains for very long trips.

Security and Service
Security
Arse. Get a Cat 1. Now.
Service
I can't really knock them, cause the work they do it is very good, but too expensive. Watch out for your service costs.

Recently, a local firm decided to try and kill my car by fitting a faulty camshaft belt. Bent valves anyone?
