Honda Prelude 2.0 2d (1992/J) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Depreciation now low, very nice car for the money.
Costs
Honda, expensive as they say, specialist servicing cheaper, fuel economy ok if driven sensibly... push it and pay!

On the road
Driving
As much fun to drive as a TT, sporty suspension, no body roll, flies around corners. Much fun to be had!
Performance
For a 2.0i... amazing! The standard gearbox is set up just right, even 5th gear is impressive! When pushed, the engine "sounds like something from Gran Turismo."

Living with it
Reliability
Nothing wrong so far.
Image
Often overlooked, often underated. Looks better than a 5th generation Prelude and most new cars churned out today! 'Old man' factor brings it down to 4
Comfort
Room in the back for 5 year olds, munchkins, leprechauns and other small fairytale folk... no one else! Front is snug, in a good way. Seats very supportive when conering hard. Ride firm, but hey... it's a sports car!

Security and Service
Security
Absolutley zip as standard, but mine came with a tracker, and a cat1 alarm/ immobiliser... so gets 5!
Service
Will only use Honda for cam belts etc... not used so far, so an indifferent 3 out of 5
