Honda Prelude 2.2 VTEC 4WS 2d (1995/M) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
A cheap-to-buy sportscar.
Costs
Insurance is silly at group 17. Thirsty depending on weight of right foot. Cost of new parts is ridiculous - I've found some in the scrappers, though! Don't get it serviced at a mail dealer.

On the road
Driving
Solid, comfortable feel. Controlable understeer if pushed hard.
Performance
I love the screaming VTEC engine. It just pulls forever!

Living with it
Reliability
No reliability problems have developed in the 2 years I've owned it (touch wood).
Image
"That's a nice car, what is it?" is a commonly asked question. It's nice to be different.
Comfort
I can drive anywhere in total comfort. Little room for anything else, though.

Security and Service
Security
Scrote magnet. De-lock it, fit a good immobiliser and alarm. I learned the hard way.
Service
They did what they had to - nothing more. Expensive.
