Honda Prelude 2.2 VTEC 4WS 2d (1993/L) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Low priced gem of a performance car.
Costs
Genuine parts expensive, but worth it in long run. Not always necessary though!

On the road
Driving
Fantastic acceleration, grip and handling. Very predictable, even when you get it out of shape, which takes some doing!
Performance
For price of car, it's fantastic. VTEC could do with coming in sooner to save the engine.

Living with it
Reliability
Very, very reliable, even at 125,000 miles! If your 4WS light comes on, firstly try disconnecting the battery either for a few minutes or over night - this will reset system.
Image
Sadly it suffers on this, but that just means we can enjoy a suprb car cheaply!
Comfort
I've given a 4 rating because the front is fine, however if you want comfort in the back don't buy a 2+2 Coupe!

Security and Service
Security
Get some security as your Prelude can't look after itself!
Service
3 overall, however Brindley at Cannock are excellent - they wash and hoover the car nearly everytime!
