Honda Prelude 2.2 VTEC 4WS 2d (1993/K) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
These cars can be picked up very cheap now. Good examples can be hard to find but are worth holding out for.
Costs
Honda are very expensive, but nearly all parts can be sourced 3rd party at less than half the price.

On the road
Driving
Superb handling & grip. Very aggressive acceleration and VTEC is just mental.
Performance
Simply the best sports coupe of its class!
-
Living with it
Reliability
Had a 300ZX TT before the Lude, and had nothing but problems. Honda is like a breath of fresh air, don't have to worry it won't start each morning.
Image
Still looks fantastic & turns heads today. Looks aggressive and has performance to match.
Comfort
Drivers seating & position are great, no aches or pains after long journeys. Plenty of leg & arm space and the buttons & gauges are conveniently placed. Rear seat space is non-existent but who cares?

Security and Service
Security
Mine had Cat 1 alarm & immobiliser which are a must for such a nice looking car.
Service
Do my own servicing, but have had cambelt done at Honda and have no complaints.
