Honda Prelude 2.2 VTi 2d (1998/R) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Cheap ones around. Came with everything. A lot of car for the money.
Costs
17mpg if you have a lead foot, otherwise 28mpg on motorways. Insurance was cheaper than a 200SX, which is slower. Servicing costs around £150-£200. Needs servicing every 6000 miles.

Driving
Excellent handling and brakes. Really fun around corners, but takes a bit of getting used to.
Performance
Amazing engine. Gives small boost at 3000revs then hugh push at 5000revs. Like a turbo, but cheaper on insurance. Cruises to 130mph with ease but needs pushing to 140mph (top speed).

Living with it
Reliability
My car's done 135,000 miles and engine still runs smoothly. Had fault with alarm and key fob.
Image
It's a bit quiet, but when you put your foot down people do look and are suprised.
Comfort
Very nice in front, but very cramped in the back for adults. Headroom is a bit short if you're over 6' 2".
