Honda Prelude 2.2 VTi 2d (1997/R) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Very good value for money. You get 4WS, alloys, spoiler, PAS, AC, FAR, 6 stack CD, sun roof, cruise, a lot of car for your money.
Costs
Not bad for this class of car. Insurance was only £420 fully comp. Can be thirsty, but hey, it's worth it.

On the road
Driving
Excellent to drive, razer sharpe steering, very good around corners.
Performance
Sits comfortably on the road. Accellaration can be fun, out-performs a lot of other cars, great fun to drive, I love driving it.

Living with it
Reliability
Never had a problem in 2 years, very reliable, done 40k miles and runs like a dream.
Image
Turns heads, especially using 4WS to park in a tight space. If this car had a Mercedes badge on the front, it would knock the spots of the SL/SLK image.
Comfort
Extremely comfy for a sportscar. No hard bumps from the road, got superior comfort that Honda is renowned for. Tight in the back seats, but who cares.

Security and Service
Security
Got alarm/immobilisers. Worth it and happy with the peace of mind.
Service
Honda service - a doddle, so far excellent.
