Honda S2000 2.0i 2d (2000/V) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Lower 'Total Cost of Ownership' than equivalent Porsche or BMW. May get more thrills per £ from an Elise, though.
Costs
"Cheap" to buy and service, but the preferred super unleaded petrol and insurance are expensive

On the road
Driving
Docile around town with a light clutch, but doesn"t like traffic jams much. Out in the country it is a blast, but you need to grab it by the scruff of the neck to make the most of it.
Performance
Quick, but not lightning. Needs to be wound up into VTEC range, because there is little torque at low revs.

Living with it
Reliability
It"s a Honda.
Image
Not many about, so people notice them far more than Z3s, etc. Have had several comments out and about - all positive.
Comfort
The best seats in any car anywhere - firm, but supportive. Ride at low speeds is a bit jiggly, but gets better as you go faster.

Security and Service
Security
Get a tracker system and make sure it"s garaged.
Service
Hassle from dealer when purchasing car and the usual tricks when it comes to servicing (charging to fill a full windscreen washer bottle, etc.)
