Honda Stream (2001 - 2005) 2.0i VTEC SE Sport 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
If you are in the position that you need to sell you're beloved car to upgrade to an MPV to cater for a bigger family then look no further. I've owned a few people carriers and this is the best drivers car by far. Imagine a 6 seater civic type r..the 6 seat layout is extremely comfortable although one let down is the third row which doesn't split and fold separately like the dreaded Zafira, , also leg and foot room in this row is very tight only really suitable for small kids but the comfort of two seperate seats with middle arm rest in the second row makes up for this. If you're dreading having to buy a family MPV please check these out, you'll get a seriously sporty driving experience from the legendary K20 engine and type R front and Integra rear suspension plus decent economy and excellent Jap reliability, boot big enough for a pram and some shopping with all seats up and huge when the third row of seats fold into the floor. A fun MPV minus the nightmare reliability issues of drab VW, Vauxhall,. Chrysler alternatives. 9/10 just let down by lack of split/slide third row, it's the smile factor makes up for this.
How reliable do you find the car?
I bought the Stream knowing it needed a few front suspension bushes and a power steering pump, all general wear for its age. Since buying, the knock sensor light has come on which is a common fault on k20 engines and easily replaced, doesn't affect driving but will need replacing for next MOTDoes the car do everything you expected it to do?
Superb drivers car, handles amazingly, comfortable ride with powerful smooth engines give this MPV a super mini like driving experience just one slight let down in designAbout their car
